Society As A Result Of Cartoons: PART I

The other day I was talking to an older friend. We were discussing how life sort of hits you all at once. Before you know it, you’re in school. They shove useless knowledge into your brain, which fills all the space for the important stuff. When it’s time to arrive in the real world, you instantly cave under the impact. The only ones you can truly rely on are your genuine friends. The world is a strange and scary place, and television is definitely evil.

This was a real conversation, but it is also the introduction sequence to Rocko’s Modern Life.

Hmm. As children, what we see heavily influences our behavior and thoughts. Could each generation really be a result of the cartoons they watched? I plan on researching and finding out.
